Right Angle Prisms

We supply high-precision right-angle prisms, which can be used as 90° or 180° reflectors based on the principle of total reflection. By choosing different incident surfaces for light incidence, the 90° or 180° deflection of the optical path can be achieved. When light is incident on the right-angle surface of the prism, it undergoes total internal reflection on the inclined surface and then exits from the other right-angle surface, completing a 90° reflection of the light beam. When light is incident on the inclined surface of the prism, it undergoes two times of total internal reflection on the two right-angle surfaces, and finally exits from the inclined surface in a direction parallel to the incident light beam, realizing a 180° reflection of the optical path. In addition, this 180° deflection is independent of the incident angle of the light.
