Polarizing Beam-splitter Cubes

The polarizing beam splitter cube is made by cementing the hypotenuses of two high-precision right-angle prisms. A polarizing beam splitter coating is deposited on the cemented hypotenuse, which can split the incident unpolarized light into two mutually perpendicular linear polarized lights. Among them, the P-polarized light is nearly completely transmitted, while the S-polarized light is reflected at a 45° angle, and its outgoing direction forms a 90° angle with the P-polarized light.
